Where oxygen runs short, where the weather stands as death every single minute, and where human courage faces its greatest test—on such a Mount Everest, India’s daughters have hoisted the tricolor and sent a message to the entire world.

Indian women are not afraid of any height. ITBP’s first all-women international mountaineering expedition team has created history by conquering the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest. This achievement is not just a matter of pride for the ITBP, but for the entire nation. Along with the ITBP, female members of the BSF have also achieved this milestone. Hail Mother India, Hail Mother India.

This is the celebration of Mother India and ITBP on the highest peak in the world. ITBP’s women personnel demonstrated courage, patience, and wonderful teamwork, and ultimately hoisted India’s tricolor on the highest peak in the world. The purpose of this mission was not just to conquer Everest, but the female personnel also spread a message of cleanliness under the ‘Clean Himalaya, Save Glacier’ campaign. This means that while bringing glory to the nation, they also gave a message to save nature.

The 14-member team included 11 women and three support staff. The team climbed from the South Col route via Nepal. They stepped onto the summit on May 21 at 12:52. The women of ITBP crossed the death zone with great ease. These brave women of ITBP set an extraordinary example by facing life-threatening challenges like bone-chilling cold, snowstorms, and vertical walls of ice in this dangerous zone. With this success, several major records in the field of mountaineering have been

credited to ITBP. ITBP has successfully completed 232 mountaineering expeditions so far. Mount Everest has been successfully climbed five times now. Six peaks with heights of more than 8,000 meters have been conquered. Victory has been achieved on Mount Everest, Mount Kangchenjunga, Mount Makalu, Mount Lhotse, Mount Dhaulagiri, and Mount Manaslu. On the other hand, the female personnel of BSF also created history. BSF’s first all-women Mount Everest expedition team also hoisted the tricolor on the highest peak in the world. This campaign was part of BSF’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The BSF team included Constable Kausar Fatima from Ladakh, Constable Munmun Ghosh from West Bengal, Constable Reveka Singh from Uttarakhand, and Constable Tsering Choral from Kargil. The team created a new history by reaching the peak of Everest at 8:00 AM. Home Minister Amit Shah also congratulated BSF on this success. Whether it is the ITBP team or the BSF team, today these daughters of India have proved that if the determination is strong, no height in the world is too big. The female personnel of ITBP and BSF have not just won Everest, but they have won the heart of the entire nation. Hail Mother India. This
