“Prime Minister Modi, why don’t you take some questions from the freest press in the world?” From domestic to international levels, discussions are revolving around this female journalist from Norway. People are divided into two factions; many are justifying the journalist’s actions, while others are calling her wrong. Actually, the issue here is not about right or wrong at all. The issue here is about the narrative. One can debate the manner in which the foreign journalist shouted, made a video, and then uploaded it on social media. Debates can happen on that. Anyway, understand the background of Norwegian journalist Helle Skjervold a little, then you will be able to understand this question and the entire agenda behind it very easily. “Prime Minister Modi, why don’t you take some questions from the freest press in the world?” Former RAW agent and NSG commando Lucky Bisht has shared information regarding the female journalist’s background.
He wrote on the social media platform X, asking whether the question posed to PM Modi in Norway was a journalist’s curiosity or a well-thought-out international conspiracy. In Norway’s capital, Oslo, a female journalist, Helle Skjervold, suddenly broke protocol in front of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and asked a sharp question while shouting. On social media, this is being portrayed as brave journalism. However, if we connect the dots and solid facts behind this, it becomes clear that this is no coincidence, but an international narrative operation being run against India by the deep state of Western countries. The journalist asking the question is a Norwegian citizen. Let us tell you that Norway is no ordinary country, but a founding member of NATO in the year 1949. Ever since India flatly refused to bow down to the pressure of Western countries and NATO regarding the Russia-Ukraine war and cited its independent foreign policy, NATO-supported forces have been looking for opportunities to damage India’s global image. Looking at the career graph of this journalist, Helle obtained a Master’s degree in Political Communication from the University of Amsterdam.
In intelligence and strategic language, this study literally means public narrative building—that is, playing with people’s minds and spreading information under a specific agenda. An even bigger and shocking truth is that in February 2024, Helle was appointed as a US correspondent by her media house and sent to America. Her base in America was not an ordinary city like Washington or New York, but she was stationed in North Carolina. This is the very American state where the US military and CIA’s largest, highly secret, and dangerous Special Operations Command base, Fort Liberty, is located. On the face of it, a journalist is visible whom the world did not know before this. Because if this very question had been asked by some other prominent face or big journalist, this entire game of foreign powers would have been easily exposed. But this kind of low profile is intentionally chosen so that ordinary people do not get suspicious. Now you think for yourself how secretly and low-profile the CIA and MI6 had kept her until today. Even though the journalist’s name is Helle on the surface, behind her is a complete game played by NATO, MI6, and the CIA, just to show Hindustan that freedom has ended inside our country.
NDTV journalist Gauri Dwivedi spoke to the young Norwegian journalist Helle. Helle was asked whether her motive behind asking the question to PM Modi was just to create drama. To this, the commentator for the Norwegian newspaper Dagsavisen said that her job is to question the purpose of foreign tours or state visits to Norway. It was important for her to somehow ask her question to Prime Minister Modi. Helle said that she did not know when she would get a chance to meet PM Modi again, so she decided to ask the question at the right time when she was present in the room with the Norwegian PM. Helle mentioned that she has asked Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi for an interview. If things work out, she will definitely ask him tough questions regarding press freedom in India as well. Helle was asked how she trusts the Press Freedom Index when monarchies like Qatar and Jordan are ahead of India in it. To this, Helle admitted that she is ready to examine whether some countries are placed above their actual position. When asked a question about the Norwegian royal couple’s visit to China in 2018, her answer was that she was not a journalist at that time.
Now, a battle between two factions continues across the country regarding this Norwegian journalist. Many people are saying that, after all, she did nothing wrong by asking PM Modi a question, while many others are saying that a foreign narrative mindset was working behind this. That journalist had reached there beforehand with a set agenda because out of all the journalists, only one journalist asked a question by shouting like this and properly video-recorded it. After recording the video, she posted it on social media. Whichever Indian groups were expressing their views on her tweet on social media, she was systematically rotating it, giving statements, and talking to them. She also asked Rahul Gandhi for an interview, telling him that they want to do an interview with him, though no response has come from Rahul Gandhi on this yet. From time to time, such points are raised regarding press freedom in India. Conversations are held regarding PM Modi not holding any press conferences inside the country. Even for the interviews that have taken place at various places, he is criticized based on what questions were asked to him, and it is said that in all these years, you did not hold a single press conference and did not take questions. In Hindustan, Indian citizens, Indian journalists, and social media mock this, and this issue is often raised through social media regarding PM Modi.
But behaving like this with the Prime Minister or President of any country on foreign soil is the result of a well-thought-out foreign mindset that has considered India a colonized nation for decades and centuries. They give such labels, and even today, those same old feelings are stuck in their mindset. This was the reason why when India was becoming the fastest-growing country and its GDP was rising, America straightaway came forward to try to look down upon it every single time, sometimes through tariffs and sometimes through trade deals. And today, look at the war situations across the entire world—which countries are behind this war, what narratives are working in it, and how this war is moving towards East versus West. The Western countries have a simple principle: to stop emerging powers by any means.
This is why it is being said that whether it is the war involving Iran—which many big experts have now started saying will not name an end anytime soon because behind it are those countries that continuously want to create instability—or whether there is tension between China and Taiwan, or tension between India and Pakistan, or inside Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka; these are all countries where governments were toppled in some places, protests were engineered in others, and weapons were given to the opponents of someone in other places. In this manner, Western countries have kept this entire region completely under their influence, and such narratives are continuously being run. For this reason, now that the details of this journalist’s question and her background have surfaced, people are raising various questions and asking under what agenda she did this.
